Shaping your association is a multitude of fastpitch experience and 100% Fairmont Cardinal support.

Jim is a long time resident of Fairmont and a local business manager. He has been coaching softball for over 13 years with travel teams and at Fairmont JH School. He has worked hard to build the sport of girls fastpitch throughout the community along with the school. When not at work you usually found him getting fields ready for games in the summer or working on the next project to get more girls involved in the winter. With his coaching his teams have won tournaments in Lake Crystal in 2007 at 12u, 2010 10u tournament 2nd place, 2012 MSF State tournament winner 14u, 2013 MSF runner up 14u, 2015 16/18 Southern Star Tournament winner and 2015 18u tournament runner up.

He has also worked hard to build a relationship with Southern Star Softball and is well respected in the softball community in southern Minnesota. He is always open to listen to people and will always find a way to give the girls of the community a chance to learn and play the game of softball.

Brian is a successful business owner for the past 20 years.
He has been around the Fairmont Fastpitch Softball scene his entire life.

He spent 30 years as a player, coach, and manager of local fastpitch softball teams. Has been on 5 state championship teams, 4 state runner up teams, and another handful of finishes in the top 5. He was a member of a National Championship team, as well as a National Runner Up on one other occasion. He was twice named as a member of the “All World” team and he again played in the summer of 2017 State Tourney and NAFA "A" Major National tourney with Odin Fastpitch.
Since retiring from playing full time he has donated his time to be a coach for both his son's baseball team and daughter's softball team. His baseball team has won league championships for 5 consecutive years, while his daughter's softball team finished as state runner up in 10u division.

He has passion for the game as well as the knowledge and tools to help develop young players to be the best they can possibly be on the field and in life. If the girls are having fun they are willing to learn and get better.

Amy has worked at Edward Jones for the past 3 years as a Branch Office Administrator. She is an active member at St. Paul Lutheran Church & School , serving on various committees & boards and past Sunday School Teacher for 8 years. She was a board member for 5 years for the Fairmont Softball Association, as the community Rep & liaison for Southern Stars league. She founded the Lakeview Jr. Service Club, an intergenerational youth volunteer program, in April of 2002. She currently is a board member and the concession stand coordinator for the Fairmont Area Booster Club.

John is a business owner who's been at the same business for 28 years. He was a former Board Treasurer for Options Pregnancy Center and also the Board Treasurer for Martin County Youth for Christ. After coming off a four sport high school career he played Fairmont men's fastpitch for 14 years including a State Tournament Championship Team and multiple National Tournament Apperances, including being National Runner Up. He has been involved in over 800 fastpitch games either playing or being part of the coaching staff. He was part of an undefeated 10u coaching staff, along with 12u - 14u and 16u coaching staffs that went to NAFA Nationals, and is also a High School Varsity pitching coach. His kids have grown up with many of the kids in our softball families. He enjoys seeing the smiles as the kids succeed in their lives, both on and off the field. Every kid needs to get the same opportunity to thrive, have fun and grow stronger in their own personal lives.

Bruce is considered by many as a founding father of Fairmont Fastpitch and has been giving all he can to Fairmont softball for over 21 years. He freely opens up his business for pitchers to practice, pays for the lights, the heat and gets little in return but receives the enjoyment of watching them play the game. He has spent thousands of hours and dollars working on Silver Lake Field at Hands Park to provide all area players the best softball field in Southern Minnesota and Northern Iowa. This fall he completely rebuilt his outfield, put in a sprinkler system, graded and leveled the field to prime condition and replanted grass. While doing this he had to also repair his drainage system as it got filled with dirt and tree roots. He is also putting in a handicap accessible bathroom through this winter and next spring.

As the Fairmont Cardinal Varsity Assistant Coach Tom brings us the full backing of the Fairmont High School. He has been coaching or running a program of some sort since 1975. IE: Fairmont VFW Baseball program, Fairmont Legion Baseball program, coaching in all levels of baseball including High School Varsity, B squad and Jr High. As the parent representative and a mother of three softball children Margaret has the parents experience in her best interest. This business partner has seen more in the softball parent world than many will ever see.

Other association members with several years of Fastpitch experience will be parts of several committees needed to run an efficient organization.
